Border Studies Workshop April 2013 2This week, the Gloo Factory filled up for an afternoon screenprinting workshop. As part of her semester of studying border issues and immigration, Brielle has also been an intern at the shop, working to increase the visibility of DouglaPrieta Works. She coordinated her fellow students coming to the Gloo Factory to learn about our work and get a tutorial in screenprinting. The Border Studies Program is in conjunction with Earlham College in Ohio and brings a group of college students to Tucson every year to spend a semester engaged in experiential learning about migration, human rights, globalization, food systems, and the environment.
