Custom project for museum display

Oversize screen used to print on large plexiglass panel.
Oversize screen used to print on large plexiglass panel.

Working with Tucson-based Creative Machines, the Gloo Factory screen printed a large plexiglass panel that was to be used for an interactive display in a children’s museum.

The project required us to build an oversized light table to expose a large screen that would fit over the panel.

After exposing and washing the screen, it was mounted onto a large work table for the printing. Each color was printed separately, by blocking off other parts of the screen and only applying ink to the need area.

The final product looks like a large circuit board. Creative Machines installed various lights and knobs onto the panel, making it an interactive learning display about circuitry.

End Operation Streamline booklet

End Operation Streamline: Assemblyline Injustice for Corporate Profit
End Operation Streamline: Assemblyline Injustice for Corporate Profit

As part of an effort to end a federal court process that sends tens of thousands of immigrants to prison each year, The Gloo Factory produced this informational booklet. Using our in-house cartoonist, Kjartan Arnorsson, we wanted to create something simple that tells the story of Streamline visually.

The booklets are available through our online store, PeaceSupplies.org.

You can also download and print a version PDF formatted for 8.5×11, double sided.

We are currently raising some extra funds to print a Spanish translation.
