The Gloo Factory — Tucson, AZ
The Gloo Factory is a community-minded, full-service union print shop with an immediate opening for an experienced Print Customer Service Representative. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced print environment and enjoys being the connective tissue between customers and production.
You’ll work directly with customers via walk-ins, phone, and email—guiding projects from quote to completion while ensuring files are print-ready and jobs move smoothly through the shop.
What You’ll Do
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and walk-in customers with clear, friendly, and accurate communication
- Create estimates, invoices, and take payments using QuickBooks
- Manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payment and accurate records
- Open, maintain, and update customer accounts
- Preflight customer files to ensure print readiness and identify issues early
- Prioritize quotes and requests in a fast-moving production workflow
- Order inventory and custom materials as needed
- Coordinate proofs and job details between customers and production staff
- Quality control jobs to ensure customer expectations are met
- Coordinate and schedule customer deliveries, pickups, and installations
- Resolve customer questions, concerns, and issues with professionalism and care
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in a print shop or related production environment
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in print or manufacturing
- Working knowledge of print production, pre-press, and quoting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
- Spanish language skills preferred
Work Environment
This position operates in a busy, hands-on shop with multiple printing processes happening simultaneously. Days can be active and physical, with movement between customer service and production areas.
